Cauliflower "Wings"
Ingredients:
1 Whole Fresh Cauliflower Head
1 Cup of gluten free (optional) bread crumbs
1 Egg
1 Tablespoon Sriracha (optional)
1/2 cup Marion’s Kitchen Ribs & Wings Marinade- Sticky Chili & Ginger
1 pinch of fresh cilantro (optional for garnish)
1 chopped chive (optional for garnish)
1 pinch of black sesame seeds
4 tablespoons of light extra virgin olive oil or avocado oil
Directions:
Roughly chop as much of the cauliflower as you’d like to use into medium size pieces
In a large pot, boil the chopped cauliflower for 5 minutes. Drain and allow to cool
In a small mixing bowl, add egg and stir. In a separate bowl add bread crumb mix
Heat oil over medium/high heat, do not let oil get too hot as the cauliflower batter will brown too quickly
Lightly coat each piece of cauliflower into the egg and then bread crumbs and gently place into the heated oil
Allow cauliflower to pan fry for 7-10 minutes until brown and crispy
Add Marinade and Sriracha into pan and gently toss until evenly coated (You can also add marinade later in a mixing bowl instead of in the pan if there is too much oil left)
Add cilantro, chopped chive and sesame for garnish
