Guilt-Free Creamy Dressing
I should start by saying I am a sucker for a good deal.. last week there was a special on individual Fage's, 10 for $10.. so regardless of the actual fage consumption in my household, I took the bait. Fast forward to this week, I have a bunch of yogurts sitting in my fridge with expiration dates ticking. I absolutely despise wasting groceries, so I decided to start making creamy dressings out of them. This recipe was intended for a batch of roasted Brussel Sprouts I was making, but that story is for another time.
Ingredients:
1 Individual 2% Fage
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon garlic
Salt/Pepper to taste
1-2 tablespoons shaved truffle cheese (hint of guilt)
1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil (optional, I did not use)
Directions:
Mix all ingredients well. For best results refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving. Toss into salad of your choice or can be used as a side dip
